The Matar Method Principles
Hello, this is Dr. Claude Matar again.
The principles on which my wellness weight loss programs are built are very basic and simple!
Throughout my 30-year experience as a medical student, medical doctor, board certified naturopathic physician, nutritionist and herbalist, I have discovered, and in fact proven with thousands of patients, that:
1. Only a well body is capable of achieving long term weight loss. Focusing on weight loss alone may produce quick results but is definitely a recipe for long term weight loss failure.
2. All plans must be tailor made for only one individual at a time and then diligently further personalized for that one individual based on workability and results realized by that one individual. For best results, this process must go on until a perfect plan is achieved for that one individual verified by ease of execution and demonstrated results in terms of weight loss and inch loss.
3. To stick to it for life, a weight loss plan must be able to:
a. Effectively eliminate hunger and cravings for unhealthy foods by including all food groups (protein, starch and fat) and flavors (sweet and savory) and correcting specific cravings-causing deficiencies in the daily food intake.
b. Successfully soften the way the body reacts to life's daily stresses and allow it to achieve better sleep.
c. Effectively promote abundant energy production in the cells of the body and consequently increase the natural desire for movement (exercise).
d. Strongly encourage the consumption of regular familiar foods that can be found in regular supermarkets and prepared using regular and familiar kitchen tools that can be easily found any time anywhere. And/or provide simple education on how to successfully eat out.
e. Provide an efficient coaching process with a trained weight loss specialist, to ensure accountability and ongoing one-on-one personal support to pull you through the potential ups and downs of life while on the plan.
I call the above the Matar Method.
